John J. (Jack) Kalagher - Chairman of the Board, Senior Managing Director, Investment Banking

Prior to joining Riderwood, Mr. Kalagher served as the Chief Operating Officer of National Capital Companies™, an investment bank located in Bethesda, Maryland. He worked closely with clients advising them on their merger and acquisition activities, business development, corporate strategic planning and partnering, organizational development, and marketing strategies.

For over three decades, Mr. Kalagher was a consultant in the management of business technology for numerous clients, including SallieMae™ and Sentinel Systems, Inc.™ He has successfully managed a number of technology M&A projects. His M&A clients included De La Rue, PLC (UK) Applied Systems Institute, Inc.™, ANADAC, Inc.™, and Systems Dynamics™, Inc. Mr. Kalagher has extensive, proven experience in structuring and operating professional services business enterprises, both as an executive and consultant. He was appointed Director at the US Department of Housing and Urban Development where he was responsible for management and operations research, support for major department programs and various research projects. Mr. Kalagher has also held senior executive positions at various companies including Sperry™ and Burroughs™ (now UNISYS™), Honeywell, Inc.™

Mr. Kalagher is a cum laude graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a B.A. in Economics. He also holds an M.B.A from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honor fraternity of commerce. Mr. Kalagher has served on the Board of Directors of Faraday National Corporation™ prior to its acquisition by De La Rue, PLC, and as a member of several United States Government Information Technology Advisory Boards. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board and Treasurer of SIGMA International Holdings™, Inc.
